LACROIX is opening a VP Business Development Manager position to join our team to boost sales in North America.
Job Description
Business Development Strategy
- Develop and execute comprehensive business development strategies to drive revenue growth, expand market share, and increase profitability,
- Identify new market opportunities, target industries, and customer segments to fuel growth,
- Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to stay ahead of industry shifts and provide actionable insights to the leadership team,
- Lead the creation and implementation of strategic initiatives that align with the company's long-term goals.
Sales and Client Management
- Oversee the development and management of key client relationships, ensuring high-level engagement and satisfaction,
- Lead negotiation efforts for major contracts and partnership agreements,
- Supervise the business development team to ensure the achievement of sales targets, KPI performance, and revenue goals,
- Ensure the execution of a robust client acquisition strategy.
Leadership and Team Management
- Provide a mentorship to the business development team, developing their skills and career growth within the organization,
- Set clear objectives for the business development department and ensure performance standards are met,
- Foster collaboration with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and operations, to ensure alignment and the effective execution of business development initiatives,
- Monitor and report on business development KPIs,
- Provide regular updates to the executive team regarding the progress of business development initiatives and forecast potential growth opportunities,
- Manage budgets, sales forecasts, and other performance metrics to ensure departmental success.
Qualifications
- Required skills & background :
- Strong experience in developing and implementing business growth strategies and leading high-performing teams in EMS industry,
- Background in automotive or industrial markets,
- Dual sales & technical expertise,
- Strong leadership qualities, with a focus on mentorship, team management, and collaboration across departments,
- Good negotiation skills and a deep understanding of market dynamics and customer needs,
- Nice to have:
- Background in medical or HBAS markets would be a plus,
- Spanish.

This role will imply occasional travel :
- On a regular basis to visit customers,
- an for local meetings in MI and Midwest,
- approximately once every 2-3 months to Juarez or South-East US,
- approximately once a year to Europe.
Home office is possible, but regular presence on site - Grand Rapids - will be required, especially during induction period.
