About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Lafayette Regional Health Center.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform patient assessment, including breath sounds, airway patency, and cuff pressure to ensure accurate diagnosis and treatment.
- Conduct diagnostic procedures to evaluate the need for respiratory therapy and monitor patient response.
- Administer various therapies, including oxygen delivery, aerosol medication delivery, and chest physiotherapy to improve patient outcomes.
- Initiate, monitor, and maintain mechanical ventilation as needed to support critical care patients.
