What are the responsibilities and job description for the Customer Service Representative position at Lake Insurance Agency?
We are seeking a qualified person to work as a Customer Service Representative for our small locally owned Insurance Agency.
This person should be a friendly and customer focused individual that excells in people skills as well as workload management.
We will train you on all aspects of the insurance agency world and all training and materials are provide at no cost to you.
We would ask this person become insurance licensed in order to fulfill the job to the fullest and we will assist in this training by setting up classes for you and providing training materials.
The job requires average computer skills with typing, copying, scanning and other basic computer skills, but also be able to learn and navigate through our company websites for quoting and rating insurance policies. Training is provided as well for this.
The applicant must be able and willing to work with customers in person, over the phone and or via email /Text to handle policy payments, changes to policies, obtain answers to their questions, work with them on claims and basically just listen and gather information.
This is a M-F 8 - 4:30pm job with expectations of being here on time and completing tasks on a timely manner. Job is in a professional environment so attire should be of something you'd see at a Bank or other professional office settings.
Opportunity to make more money is available by selling insurance policies to people you know and bring to the agency. Commission schedules can be discussed after hiring and training is complete. Unlimited earning potential.
