Qualifications:
- High School graduate; post high school course work in business preferred
- Two years of secretarial experience strongly preferred
- Must have exemplary interpersonal skills
- Must be available and able to perform job duties
- Must be dependable (i.e., attendance, team player, meeting deadlines, etc.)
- Must be able to maintain composure in emergency situations
- Must be a positive representative for LOCS
- Must be able to establish and maintain professional office atmosphere
- Have knowledge and be adept at accounting procedures
- Must have demonstrated ability to work with others effectively
- Must be able to effectively maintain records
- Must demonstrate knowledge of office management procedures
- Must have exemplary oral and written communication skills
- Must have superior organizational skills
Responsibilites:
- Assist with onboarding of new hires
- Process daily absences and sub requests through district absence management system
- Edit and approve all hourly employee time sheets for payroll in district time and attendance system
- Process all purchase orders for building
- Help maintain building budget
- Process monthly reconciliation of credit cards
- Office duties such as answering phones, maintaining records, scheduling appointments, and etc
- Maintain petty cash
- Inventory of all office supplies
- Responsible for running background checks on all volunteers
- Act as main support to building administrator
- Help assist staff, students, and parents
- All other duties as assigned by supervisor
