Lake Walk is currently seeking a dynamic and creative Marketing Director to join their evolving team. This position offers the chance to play a pivotal role in developing and executing innovative marketing strategies for Lake Walk, contributing to the growth and success of our vibrant community. The Marketing Director will plan, direct, and manage all marketing strategy on behalf of the Lake Walk brand and related projects in accordance with the bylaws set forth by the Biocorridor Property Owner’s Association.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Campaign Coordination: Plan, develop, and execute marketing campaigns across various channels such as digital, social media, email, and traditional advertising for Lake Walk and its events
- Content Creation: Create and edit content for various platforms including social media, web content such as blog articles, newsletters, promotional materials, press releases, and media alerts
- Data Analysis: Analyze marketing data and performance metrics of Lake Walk content to assess the effectiveness of campaigns and suggest recommendations for performance improvements
- Brand Management: Responsible for maintaining brand consistency across all marketing materials and communication channels as well as monitoring the use of the Lake Walk brand by external entities
- Communications: Collaborate with internal teams, external marketing agencies, retail tenants, commercial real estate partners, sponsors, and stakeholders to ensure clear communication and coordination of marketing initiatives, keeping in mind individual brand language and preferences
- Part-Time Coordinator Management: Manage the Assistant Coordinator in events-related marketing tasks including content creation, digital campaigns, and event day support that directly promote Lake Walk community events
- Budget Planning & Allocation: Manage and oversee the BPOA marketing budget, ensuring all expenditures align with strategic goals
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or related experience in marketing, communications, journalism, tourism, hospitality management, business administration, or closely related field
- 3 years of experience in the marketing and communications field
- Must live in the Bryan/College Station, TX area, or be willing to relocate
- Real estate experience and familiarity with the Bryan/College Station area is a plus
Recommended Skills & Proficiencies:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with digital marketing channels, including social media, email marketing, SEO, online advertising, and web content creation
- Ability to create engaging and effective marketing content across various platforms
- Strong organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and projects simultaneously
- A self-starter with the ability to set priorities strategically and implement a decisive action plan
- Creativity to contribute innovative ideas for marketing campaigns and new Lake Walk initiatives
- Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams, external partners, community members, and stakeholders
- Experience using marketing tools such as Meta Business Suite, Metricool, and Mailchimp for analytics, content creation, and campaign management
- Ability to identify challenges and propose effective solutions to enhance marketing efforts
- Basic project management skills to coordinate marketing initiatives from conception to execution
- Experience with managing and growing digital assets to enhance brand visibility
- Basic proficiency with design software including Adobe Creative Suite and Canva
- Proficiency in updating and maintaining various websites across different platforms including WordPress and Wix
