- Experience including planning, leading, implementing, and sustaining long-term projects and related professional learning with both students and adults;
- Demonstrated multicultural sensitivity with the ability to effectively and collaboratively work with diverse populations;
- Knowledge of best practices regarding culturally competent or relevant family engagement and community outreach;
- Demonstrated commitment to in-depth collaboration for whole team/program success;
- Training and/or experience in facilitating adult learning;
- Ability to integrate and support equitable and culturally aware practices as related to provide of support in school and district contexts;
- Experience in learning and integrating new technology;
- Commitment to the vision, goals, and philosophy of the Lake Washington School District.

Job Summary:
The Equity and Family Engagement Facilitator will serve as a liaison for families and students to promote and ensure positive outcomes in alignment with Equity Admin Policy 0100P and Operational Expectations- 14. This position supports student success and the closing of opportunity gaps by working across schools and departments to develop organizational capacity in the areas of equity and family engagement through partnership, training, and policy.
