Banquet Houseman
The Banquet Houseperson plays a key role in supporting the Banquet team to ensure the seamless preparation and execution of events. This includes setting up, breaking down, and maintaining banquet spaces, transporting supplies, and assisting the Banquet Manager and staff. The ideal candidate will take pride in creating an exceptional guest experience by ensuring clean, organized, and properly equipped event spaces.
THE DUTIES OF A BANQUET HOUSEMAN WILL INCLUDE, BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:
- Prepare event spaces by setting up banquet tables, chairs, linens, and other required items.
- Clean and maintain banquet rooms and event spaces, including mopping, sweeping, and vacuuming food service and event areas after each event.
- Restock and organize banquet rooms with necessary supplies.
- Break down and store event items post-event.
- Assist with the loading and unloading of supplies and equipment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional appearance of all banquet areas.
- Provide exceptional service by engaging with guests and team members in a friendly and professional manner.
- Consistently adhere to safety standards, promptly reporting any hazards or concerns to the supervisor.
- Assists in additional tasks/duties to help facilitate a smooth and efficient service.
