Position Summary
Summary:
Processes documents to ensure timely payments to vendors. Completes document maintenance, as required. Prepares daily system balancing reports. Maintains confidentiality and privacy; adheres to HIPAA standards. Organizes job function and work assignments to be able to effectively complete assignments within established time frames. Demonstrates knowledge of all equipment and systems/technology necessary to complete duties and responsibilities. Demonstrates continuous improvement so that optimum outcomes are achieved. Identifies opportunities for and contributes to the improvement of quality, safety and cost, as well as patient, customer and employee satisfaction.

Standard Work Duties: Accounts Payable Clerk- Processes approved documents for subsequent payment to vendors
- Completes document maintenance, as required.
- Prepares daily system balancing reports.
- Interacts with vendors and department heads/designees to ensure an uninterrupted flow of documents.
- Assists in the orientation of new staff, ensuring the exchange of appropriate information necessary for the successful performance of duties and responsibilities.
