About the Muskego Circle Community Center:
The Muskego Circle Community Center is run by Lakepoint Church, offering event space at our facility, to form meaningful connections and everyday relationships. This has opened doors to circles of everyday relationships (the central mission of our church), created connections with diverse communities, generated revenue, and most importantly has warmed people to the love of Jesus through the hospitality of Lakepoint Church.
We are looking for an administratively savvy person with a love for people and systems to help us facilitate our growth in community engagement.
About the Community Center Hospitality Coordinator Position:
The basic job function is to take each room renter from inquiry to actual event; managing the administrative details and maximizing their event experience. You won’t be alone. Currently, the Community Center Director is solely filling these responsibilities. Your job will be to shadow and apprentice under the director to play all the same functions as the director.
Community Center Hospitality will have you client-facing in meaningful conversations and relationships with event users. Love well. Listen well. Help their event become a shining success. We want the love of Jesus to be known to everyone who brings their event into our Community Center.
Administrative experience in tracking calendars, invoices, agreements, and vendors is a must.
Community Liaison/Event Support: Help organize and run all community-focused events (classes, community invite events like coffee w/ a cop, scouts, non-profit use cases, etc). Maintain responsibility for off-site networking and community involvement (golf outings, chamber events, meetings with local business owners, etc). The Community Center Hospitality Coordinator will also be asked to give occasional tours of the facility during weeknights, according to the availability of both the space and interested event users.
Marketing/Social Media Support: Create content, post on social media, update Google pages, and assist with any other marketing efforts including flyers, handouts, brochures, etc.
Regular Room Host: Act as onsite event host during large events, typically occurring during weekday evenings throughout the year and most Saturdays from May-November. The Community Center Hospitality Coordinator will be expected to help event guests when needed and to complete other duties as listed above during downtime.
Compensation:
Lakepoint Church offers a competitive hourly rate. Compensation will be based on experience and qualifications.
