THE OPPORTUNITY: We launched our company in 1984, servicing the apparel needs of resorts around our home of Detroit Lakes in northern Minnesota. Fast forward to today, and you'd be hard-pressed to not see our Blue 84 garments hanging in vacation locales from sea to shining sea. Great garments, incredible art, and our constant efforts to WOW Our Customers have been the key to our growth and will continue to differentiate us in the Resort market. We're not just another garment provider, and we're looking for 'not just another sales rep' to join our team of Sales Representatives.
As a Sales Rep, you will work closely with the National Resorts Sales Manager & play a crucial role in driving our business growth for Blue 84 Resort. You will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with our existing and potential customers. Your passion for our products, combined with your stellar sales skills, will help us expand our customer base and exceed sales goals.
TERRITORY: Utah. The ideal candidate would live in Salt Lake City, Provo, Park City, or preferably near any of the ah-mazing National Parks in UT. Seriously, if you live anywhere in UT & this opportunity speaks to you, let's talk.
SCHEDULE: This is all up to you. Travel to accounts, sell the goods, then take time for YOU! Sell more tees, make more money & do it on YOUR time.
DAILY REP LIFE | Wow Our Customers Sell All the Tees Build Relationships Prospecting
- Build and maintain relationships with existing and potential customers, including: retailers, resorts, hotels, bars, boutiques, gift shops, and other businesses focused on providing custom merch for their retail customers
- Promote and provide in-depth knowledge of our resort apparel products, highlighting their quality, uniqueness, and the overall Blue 84 brand
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, customer interactions and sales pipelines
- Conduct market research and identify new business opportunities to expand your customer base
- Collaborate with our internal teams, to ensure the smooth execution of orders and projects
- Keep customers informed about new product launches, promotions and industry trends
- Provide exceptional customer service (have we mentioned our value of Wow Our Customers?!) by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and exceeding expectations
- Stay up to date with industry trends and market conditions to identify areas for improvement and growth
QUALIFICATIONS | People Person Impeccable Smile Sales Drive Goal-Focused
- Proven experience in apparel sales, preferably as a Sales Rep, encouraged
- Prospecting is your greatest strength (you love the hunt)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with the ability to work independently and exceed sales targets
- Strong closing skills; ability to listen and ask the right questions to get customers exactly what they need
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of resort apparel market trends and customer preferences preferred
- Proficiency in using sales software and CRM systems, including Salesforce
- Willingness to travel | Boots on the ground makes for more tees on the shelves (follow-up is part of your daily task list)
- Proactive in making sure customers have product at the ready
- Proud to show your sales and scouting activity as a sign of progress, impact and success
- Must have an ability to recognize our culture, contribute to it, and be a part of it
- Go with the flow mentality; able to switch tasks at the tug of a t-shirt
- Must love dogs (we kinda like them and we hope you do, too)
