Concessions Assistant

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will support daily operations in a fast-paced environment, ensuring exceptional customer service and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization. The ideal candidate will have experience in kitchen or retail settings and possess strong cash handling skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service by greeting and assisting customers with their needs.
• Handle cash transactions accurately using a cash register, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
• Assist in the kitchen by preparing food items, maintaining cleanliness, and following food safety protocols.
• Buss tables and sanitize dining areas to ensure a clean and welcoming environment for guests.
• Support inventory management by restocking shelves and organizing products in accordance with grocery store standards.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations and a positive work atmosphere.

Experience

• Previous experience in a kitchen, restaurant, or grocery store setting is preferred.
• Familiarity with cash handling procedures and retail math is an asset.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards is essential.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 per week
