The HR Project Manager will be responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing projects according to deadlines and within budget, while overseeing quality control throughout the project life cycle. This role requires a combination of project management expertise and a solid understanding of human resources processes and best practices.
Responsibilities
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
- Monitor and track project progress, ensuring milestones are met on time and within budget.
- Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs.
- Prepare and present regular status reports to MSR HR Management Team or other stakeholders related to the project.
- May be asked to analyze current HR processes and systems, identifying areas for improvement.
- Support the implementation of innovative solutions that will enhance HR operations, efficiency, and effectiveness.
- Ensure all HR projects align with organizational goals and compliance requirements.
- Lead and manage HR project teams, ensuring clear communication and coordination among team members.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, finance, and other departments, to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Facilitate project meetings and provide direction and support to project team members.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Communicate project expectations, updates, and risks to stakeholders effectively.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and address concerns promptly.
- Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Monitor project risks and implement contingency plans as needed.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including plans, reports, and records.
- Ensure all project documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and accessible.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field, preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management required, preferably in HR or a related field.
- Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering complex projects.
- Strong knowledge of HR processes and best practices.
- Excellent project management skills, including planning, execution, and risk management.
- Exceptional leadership and team management abilities.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- This position may require occasional travel.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Certifications, Licenses, and/or Registration
- PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certification is highly preferred.
