Plant Operations Technician
Main Functions
o Documentation of Raw Materials and process additions
o Data entry for testing and batch processes
o Basic Trouble shooting of equipment and Processes
o Maintain accurate and timely records of processes under the guidance of Plant Process Operator
o Responsible for adherence to all Good Manufacturing Practices including checklists and audits under the guidance of Plant Process Operator
o Performs cross department tasks including routine sampling, labeling, and simple laboratory analysis
o Assists in emergency response activities
o Maintain factory cleanliness
o Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols, know how to handle machinery and chemicals in a safe manner under the guidance of Plant Process Operator
o Report all unsafe acts or conditions that may cause injury to plant personnel or damage equipment, participate in accident/near miss investigations.
Technical skills
Required
- Competency in basic computer skills, Excel, Word, etc
An asset
- Previous experience as Plant Operations Technician
- Basic knowledge of mathematical practices including basic algebra
- Basic knowledge of mobile equipment, tractors, forklift, etc.
Personal abilities

- Strong communication skills and the ability to work within a team environment
