At Lalor Family Dental, we’re a thriving multi-office dental practice with 60 years of experience, and we’re looking for an HR Assistant who is detail-oriented, independent, and passionate about helping others.
What You'll Be Doing
As an HR Assistant, you'll play a key role in keeping things running smoothly by assisting with the HR department’s day-to-day activities. From assisting with onboarding and payroll to managing employee files and helping with benefits administration, no two days will be the same. You'll have the chance to learn and grow while contributing to a positive and inclusive workplace.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
- Assisting with the hiring process: job applications, onboarding, and employee orientation.
- Helping with payroll, HR audits, and benefits administration.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee records.
- Answering employee questions regarding policies, benefits, and more.
- Ensuring all HR information stays confidential and supporting the team with important administrative tasks.
- Keeping the lines of communication open by answering calls and relaying messages.
Who We're Looking For
We want someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about supporting others. If you have a keen eye for detail, work independently, and have some experience in HR, accounting, or management (or are eager to learn!), we want to meet you!
Ideal Skills and Experience:
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Highschool Diploma required
- Experience with Microsoft Office, especially Excel (we’re all about those spreadsheets!).
- A knack for maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information.
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently.
- A team player who’s ready to contribute to a positive, inclusive workplace.
