Event Coordinator – (Reports directly to Sales Director) The position of Event Coordinator requires a self-motivated ‘whatever it takes’ approach, with strong communication and great attention to detail.
Pay Structure
- Hourly Position up to Full Time schedule – starting at $19.00 per hour
Qualifications
- Associates Degree in related field or equivalent and relevant experience
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Able to show experience with operations, multi-tasking, timeline management, client relationships, adaptability, and attention to detail
- Past Wedding Coordination experience preferred
- Experience in Venue/Catering environment a plus
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Coordinating majority of Wedding and Non-Wedding Events
- Execution of Event as detailed and provided from Sales Director
- May include some responsibility for Wedding Rehearsals as well
- Assisting General Manager and Head Chef as needed during Events
- Acts as main point of contact for vendors, clients and their guests during Events
- Collaboration with Event Captain to ensure Event is executed to clients’ visions
- Hospitality mindset in all aspects of performance, holding client experience paramount at all times
- Exudes a positive attitude during events, leading team through event expectations by example and cultivating a positive working environment
