Description
Part-time position available Interacting with children during the entire work period by planning & directing games & classes, helping children with crafts & providing a variety of activities; nurtures, counsels & mediates problems with children, administers basic first aid to children with minor injuries, & keeps site supervisor informed of all problems with children or co-workers; discusses problems with parents as directed by site supervisor; set-up & clean up before & after snacks & lunch which includes sweeping & mopping; monitoring children during snacks, responsible for keeping storage room orderly & clean; chaperone children to and from daily field trips which include swimming, bowling, movies, Friday field trips such as skating, Discovery Place, Sky High, Charleston trip, laser tag, etc.
Children & chaperones are transported by LCP&R bus. Must be highly energetic & interact well with children.
