How YOU will contribute
- Strategy & Planning (20%): Develop customer-specific annual trade and marketing plans aligned with our strategic objectives. Ensure the full execution of all sales and marketing tools tailored to each customer.
- Sales Leadership & Execution (60%): Optimize customer sales performance and drive profitable volume growth through distribution, new product platforms, and trade promotion optimization. Identify new business opportunities and execute approved customer business plans.
- Sales Administration (20%): Manage and update promotional programs, ensure forecast accuracy, and handle product issues at the customer level. Maintain timely and accurate expense management.
What You'll Do:
- Influence Sales Strategy: Utilize internal relationships to influence sales strategy and implement corrective measures to achieve budgeted goals.
- Drive Store-Level Success: Translate customer plans into store-level strategies to enhance merchandising and distribution results.
- Build Partnerships: Leverage your business knowledge to identify opportunities and solidify partnerships with buyers, meat managers, and store managers.
- New Business Development: Identify and capitalize on new opportunities at accounts, presenting innovative ideas to customers.
- Customized Presentations: Deliver tailored presentations to customers using specific data to drive engagement and results.
- Track Performance: Create, execute, and track store-level volume, merchandising, and distribution goals using a pre-determined scorecard.
- Manage Promotions: Update and course-correct promotional programs using tools like PX and Nielsen’s.
- Ensure Accuracy: Deliver forecast accuracy targets and manage product issues as needed.
- Support Initiatives: Execute HQ-driven initiatives and requirements.
About YOU
- Experience: 4 years of experience in the CPG industry.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in sales or a related field required.
- Knowledge: Proficiency in Microsoft 365, Sales Force, and PX.
- Travel: Local and/or overnight travel required (25%).
