Legal Counsel

Company and position highlights:

• The firm has been around for 20 years
• Manage roughly 10b in AUM
• This hire will sit with the investment team and be responsible for all transaction related matters
• This person will have the opportunity to leave their mark on the firm and the group
• Hours: typical day is 8:30am to 6pm
• Work from home policy: 4 days in the office and 1 day from home
• Compensation: this will depend on experience, but likely 400-550k for the first year. Compensation will be more variable in out years and tied to the performance of the group.

Qualifications:

• J.D. required.
• At least 5 years of experience managing asset-backed private credit investments and/or capital markets transactions at a top law firm or in-house, preferably on a trading desk in a large investment bank, buy-side firm or similar environment. Strong communication and analytical skills;
• Ability to manage several workstreams simultaneously;
• Motivated, highly organized, and a self-starter;
