Job Description:
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Bid Coordinator to join our Preconstruction/Estimating Department on a full-time basis. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for facilitating the bid process, preparing required forms, and managing bid timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the Preconstruction/Estimating team to prepare and manage bids and proposals
- Research and identify new bid opportunities and analyze market trends
- Develop and maintain relationships with subcontractors and suppliers
- Manage and track bid documents, including plans, specifications, and addenda
- Prepare and distribute requests for bid to subcontractors
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of construction experience, preferably in preconstruction or a similar role
- Prior experience working with general contractors and understanding of construction plans
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Bonus Points:
