We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable individuals to join our team as Garden Center Associates. As a vital part of our garden center operations, you will assist customers, maintain inventory, and ensure a positive shopping experience for all patrons. Duration: Summer Season (approximately May-August)
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting customers with inquiries, product selection, and gardening advice.
- Maintain a clean and organized garden center environment, including restocking shelves, watering plants, and arranging displays.
- Assist in receiving and processing shipments of plants, gardening supplies, and merchandise.
- Operate cash registers and handle transactions accurately while adhering to cash handling policies.
- Monitor plant health and report any issues to management to ensure the highest quality of products for our customers.
- Assist with special promotions, events, and sales initiatives to increase customer engagement and sales.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and effective operations during peak periods.
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 16 years of age.
