Responsibilities- Receive and route incoming accounts payable invoices.
- Enter invoices into the ERP system and ensure proper coding and approval.
- Research and resolve exception invoices and reconcile them to vendor statements.
- Maintain vendor files, ensuring W-9s and Certificates of Insurance are current.
- Assist with new vendor setup and processing credit applications.
- Ensure correct sales/use tax is applied to invoices.
- Assist Accounts Receivable with procuring lien waivers from vendors.
- Import weekly timecard records from timekeeping software into payroll software.
- Review payroll data for exceptions/errors and submit for final processing.
- Manage new hires and terminations in the payroll system.
- 2 years of accounts payable experience.
- Experience in payroll processing.
- Preferred experience in the commercial construction industry.
- Knowledge of general accounting practices.
- Familiarity with Colorado Sale and Use tax laws and procedures.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with Trimble/Viewpoint Spectrum is a major plus.
- Flexible and willing to assist with ad-hoc projects.
- College-level accounting/finance coursework preferred.
Salary Range: $65,000 - $80,000
