Salary Range: $22.00 - $24.00 Hourly
Job Shift: Day
JOIN EUGENE'S LEADING LANDSCAPING SUPPLY COMPANY! Lane Forest Products is looking for a Full Time Accounts Payable team member that will be responsible for all phases of the accounts payable process for the company.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Process invoices received from vendors; enter into accounting software
- Code invoices and obtain necessary approval for payments
- Match purchase orders and invoices, assuring compliance with procedures
- Answer vendor questions and resolve problems
- Investigate and follow up on invoice discrepancies and related activities
- Assist with printing checks and submitting remittances on a weekly basis
- Process vendor credit applications
- Work with the Financial Controller to coordinate the monthly statements and closing processes
- Maintain and provide reports to Financial Controller on accounts payable activity
- Assist other department staff as needed during peak times and for special projects
Additional duties include:
- Participating on the accounting office closing schedule, counting cash and closing cash registers for sales department
- Other tasks as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma/ GED required
- 3 years Accounts Payable experience
- Microsoft Office proficiency
- Strong attention to detail with solid organizational skills
- Experience in other aspects of accounting office
- Excellent communication skills
