JOB DESCRIPTION
Security Guard (Thursday and Friday, 8 hours each day, and Saturday and Sunday, 12 hours each day).

POSITIONDESCRRTIQN:
Responsible for protection of Company property and overall plant security
ESSENTIAL/PRIMARY JOB DUTIES:
1. Responsible for having knowledge of all information and requirements contained in the Langdale Security Manual.
2. Oversees entrances to plants, logging customers and visitors in and out.
2. Responsible for completing required logs, forms, etc. in a prompt and efficient manner.
3. Responsible for delivering reports and other published material to corporate office.
4. Responsible for raising and lowering flag(s) at corporate office.
5. Responsible for weighing chip, fuel and delivery trucks in and out of plant.
6. Responsible for after hours telephone answering position for facility.
7. Responsible for checking shipping documents against loads entering and leaving facility.
8. Acts as primary contact and coordinator during emergencies, routinely communicating with two-way radio and telephone.
9. Routinely patrols Company premises by foot and vehicle.
10. Responsible for pre-shift inspections of Security vehicle and maintaining a clean and operable vehicle.
11. Responsible for performing first aid.
12. Responsible for acting as a medical transport when required.
13. Investigates and documents accidents, incidents and breaches of security.
14. Monitors drainage ditches by opening and closing drain valves as needed.
16. Routinely makes security patrols of affliate company property.
17. Responsible for being present and on time for work each day.
OCCASIONAL/MARGINAL DUTIES
1. Performs janitorial duties at Security/First Aid stations.
2. Records rainfall amounts.
3. Answers alarm calls and resets alarms.
4. Performs any and all additional duties as may be required for the fulfillment of his/her
responsibilities.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
*High school diploma or equivalent.
*Valid drivers license
*Certified First Aid & CPR provider helpful
MANUAL/PHYSICAL SKLLS:
*Operating class 1 vehicle.
CONNUNICATION SKILLS:
*Good verbal and written communication skills.
HOURS OF WORK.
*40 hours per week with additional overtime as needed.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
*Must be able to lift a minimum of 45 pounds.
*Substantial sitting, standing and walking required.
*Must be able to work in all types of weather conditions.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $10.25 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
