What are the responsibilities and job description for the Parts Coordinator position at Lantech?
Schedule: Primary Hours are Mon-Fri: 9 am to 6 pm- Will require flexibility in hours to accommodate late shift coverage of 11 am to 8 pm one night a week. Will participate in the after-hours/weekend emergency service coverage rotation (one weekend every 5 weeks).

Here's a Glimpse at What You'll Do:
Requires a detail-oriented self-starter to serve as a Parts Coordinator in a fast-paced Parts Call Center. Answers customer calls and email requests for parts inquiries, quotes and orders. Conducts computer-based research to identify customer-required parts. Develops customer parts quotes. Processes customer spare parts orders. Periodically provides after-hours / weekend emergency parts ordering support coverage.
What Are We Looking For? (Requirements)
We are looking for someone who:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with a high aptitude for customer service
- Ability to convey technical information via telephone or email to customers
- Process-oriented problem solver
- Ability to multi-task and be detail oriented
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Self-starter with strong interpersonal, organizational and time management skills
- Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office products with strong skills in MS Excel and Word
Education & Experience:
High school diploma required. College coursework preferred
Desired Skills:
- Strongly prefer a minimum of 2 years of customer service experience
- Prior experience in a customer call center preferred
- Prefer prior experience interpreting technical information (similar to Lantech BOMs)
