Position Summary
We are seeking a Collector I role with 2 years of banking and collection experience who is goal-orientated and able to work independently as part of a team.
· Compliant with all federal, state and collection laws and regulations as well as company policies and procedures.
· Flexible and available to collect on all early-stage delinquent loans and accounts.
· Maintains a minimum call volume and works queues as assigned.
· Maintains accurate records of all communication and actions taken in relation to debt collection efforts
· Maintains monthly reports assigned by management.
· Establishes clear communication with members to determine reasons for delinquency and evaluates financial situations to negotiate terms of repayment.
· Performs various administrative duties related to the collection process.
This is a hybrid-based position with a minimum of 2 days in the Van Nuys office required and supports all facets of the day-to-day operations and/or projects within the Collection department.

· Manage a daily delinquency queue
· Complete a daily call volume
· Maintain monthly reports
· Assist with department goals
Minimum Qualifications
A minimum of 2 years of experience providing administrative support in a fast-paced environment.
A minimum of 2 year of experience in a Collection department, or commensurate work experience, is preferred.
Education and Certificates/Licenses
A minimum education of high school education or GED

The associate must be able to travel regularly among the branches supervised. The position may include occasional lifting of up to 15 lbs.
