The Job:  Retail Sales Associate (part-time)

As am member of the LaPlaya Boutique, the part-time Retail Associate will be responsible primarily responsible for merchandising inventory while also supporting the sales team on the boutique floor as needed.   This role is crucial in ensuring smooth operations and providing excellent service by accurately retrieving and restocking merchandise.       

• Sales:  Support the boutique team, by working on the sales floor and helping during special events, include pop up shops with vendors. 
• Inventory Management:    Receive, unpack, and organize merchandise in the stockroom. Ensure accurate product labeling.
• Stockroom Organization:   Maintain a clean, organized, countable and safe stockroom environment.   Arrange products systematically for easy accessibility to team members. 
• Merchandise Restocking:  Assist in restocking the sales floor as needed, ensuring popular items are replenished promptly to maximize sales.

Requirements

Requirements:

· Prior retail or stockroom experience preferred but not required.

. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

· Strong verbal and written communication skills.

· Ability to satisfactorily communicate in English with guests, management, and co-workers to their understanding.

. Excellent organizational skills, with a strong attentional detail required.

· Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays as needed.

. Ability to lift 50 lbs., stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive tasks.
