Larson is seeking an Engineering Administrative Assistant to provide clerical support to the engineers in our Appleton and Wauwatosa offices.
Description
We are looking for an Engineering Administrative Assistant with experience answering phones and familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. A self-starter with good communication and organizational skills is essential. The ideal candidate will have experience with Adobe products like InDesign, Dreamweaver, Photoshop, or Illustrator. Previous experience at an A/E/C firm is a plus.
Job Duties
- Clerical support for Engineering Staff, includes tasks such as:
- Prepare project-related documents like Proposals and Correspondence
- Prepare weekly reports of project workload for the Regional Manager
- Assist Project Managers with project related administrative duties
- Coordinate events including:
- Tradeshows / Conferences
- Career Fairs
- Employee Parties
- General clerical duties for the office, includes tasks such as:
- Answer incoming telephone calls and direct to the appropriate person
- Order office supplies
- Coordinate mail, inbound and outbound
- Other ad hoc projects
- Clerical support for the Regional Accountant, includes tasks such as:
- Data Entry (Accounts Payable, Cash Receipts, Project Database)
Basic Qualifications
- Exceptional word processing skills,
- Professional demeanor to interact with clients on the phone,

- Ability to multitask,
- Self-motivated and strong attention to detail,
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills,
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the A/E/C industry or at a Professional Services Firm,
- Experience with InDesign and the Adobe Suite,
- Graphic design skills,
- Associate's Degree (Administrative or Executive Assistant, Business, Accounting, or related field).
