Reports To: Loan Servicing Manager
Purpose: The Member Solutions Specialist is responsible for supporting our members on all collection activities. The Member Solutions Specialist will contact members directly to assist with bringing accounts current as well as helping members with additional solutions. Along with collections functions, the Specialist will also assist the Loan Servicing Department in day-to-day processes. Most importantly, the Member Solutions Specialist must strive to create the best member experience possible with follow through and resolution.
Responsibilities
· 125-150 daily outbound delinquency calls
· Inbound delinquency call queue
· Monitor vendor reporting for delinquency and charge offs
· Skip tracing efforts for delinquent loans
· Recommend collateral for repossession
· Maintain and update working list of repossessed collateral and auction details
· Timely processing and mailing of repossession notifications
· Processing of invoices and proceeds related to repossession and subsequent disposal of collateral
· End of month administrative duties including recommendation and processing of loans for charge off
· Work closely with legal team for bankruptcy tracking, proof of claim filing, and other scenarios as needed
· Make outbound calls to members regarding collateral protection insurance (CPI) and obtain current insurance
· Recommend loans for extensions, modifications, etc.
· Monitor collections inbox and loan servicing inbox for incoming collections queries
· Assist loan servicing team with duties as needed
· Other duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements:
1-year minimum collections experience
CPI (collateral protection insurance) knowledge preferred
High school diploma or equivalent required
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Good math skills
Attention to detail
Well organized
Professional appearance, dress, and attitude
Ability to operate related computer applications and other business equipment
Schedule:
M-F 8:45 AM - 5:00 PM, typically. Employee will be required to work from 9 AM - 1 PM on the 2nd and 4th Saturdays of the month. For the week that a Saturday is worked, they will get a half day during the week on either Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday subject to business need.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $22.50 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
