About The Role
The Senior Diversity & Inclusion Coordinator – Client Initiatives is an integral part of Latham’s Legal Talent Development team and will be responsible for working with the Senior Manager of Global Attorney Diversity & Inclusion – Client Initiatives, the Senior Diversity & Inclusion Specialist – Client Initiatives, the Director of Global Attorney Diversity and Inclusion, the Diversity Leadership Committee (DLC), and the Women Enriching Business (WEB) Committee to support all projects related to client diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives, including surveys, partnerships, and programs , while preparing submissions in response to client DEI surveys and other inquiries. This role will be located in either our office Houston, Texas, Washington, D.C., or Orange County, California office. Please note that this role may be eligible for a flexible working schedule that allows for a hybrid and in-office presence.

Responsibilities & Qualifications
Other key responsibilities include:
- Preparing DEI content for pitches, RFPs, and other materials submitted to clients or potential clients
- Ensuring compliance with applicable data privacy laws related to requests for demographic information
- Assisting with managing the firm’s participation in DEI partnerships and initiatives with clients, including professional development and training programs
- Supporting DLC-led client projects and initiatives, including supporting the DLC’s client programs subcommittee, and assistance may additionally include drafting internal and external communications, managing meeting logistics, and conducting industry research
- Supporting WEB-led projects and initiatives, including mentoring, business development, and professional development programs
- Protecting and maintaining any highly sensitive, confidential, privileged, financial, and/or proprietary information that Latham & Watkins retains
- Possess strong written and verbal communication skills
- Display a high level of attention to detail
- Demonstrate a high level of comfort in interpreting and analyzing data
- A bachelor’s degree
- A minimum of four (4) years of experience in administration
