As an Expeditor, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring that purchase orders are completed on time and meet all specified requirements. From document coordination to vendor communication, your work will directly impact project success.
What You’ll Do:
- Drive efficiency by expediting missing, new, or returned documents and drawings from vendors, contractors, and Engineering teams.
- Keep projects on track by monitoring and updating document submittals, ensuring they are reviewed and returned per the schedule.
- Serve as the communication hub, providing timely updates to stakeholders, vendors, and contractors to ensure seamless coordination.
- Identify and solve problems by spotting supplier or contractor issues early and escalating them to the Procurement and Program Teams.
- Ensure quality and compliance by reviewing inspection reports, verifying supplier progress, and confirming contractual delivery commitments are met.
- Stay ahead of delays by proactively implementing strategies to detect and prevent disruptions in supplier schedules.
- Support continuous improvement by developing and refining material management and control procedures for future projects.
