We are looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our team!

We are a private company that specializes in providing professional, resident focused apartment and condominium community management. We believe that developing solid relationships with our residents, employees, vendors, investors, and partners is at the forefront of our success.

The Maintenance Technician plays a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of facilities by performing a wide range of maintenance tasks. This hands-on position requires expertise in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining equipment and systems. The ideal candidate will have strong technical abilities and be capable of working independently or collaborating with a team to efficiently resolve issues.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and perform minor and routine maintenance repairs in a timely fashion.
  • Ensure that all service requests are addressed daily.
  • Complete make-ready units using company/property issued checklists.
  • Conduct exterior property inspections.
  • Perform building and common area upkeep on a daily basis.
  • Assist in keeping all grounds neat and free of debris/litter.
  • Participate/complete/oversee the completion of preventative maintenance.
  • Assist in maintaining adequate inventory, utilizing inventory control systems.
  • Maintain equipment to ensure warranty compliance and safety measures.
  • Coordinate deliver and work schedules with vendors, contractors and management.
  • Perform and report on all work according to safety standards of the company.

Skills:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be CPO and HVAC Certified.
  • Bilingual preferred
  • Valid driver's license and proof of liability insurance required.
  • Ability to walk up/down stairs, kneeling or crouching, using hands/reaching/and other physical demands. Standing, walking, or sitting for extended periods required.
  • This position involves working in an environment with moderate to high noise levels.
  • Must possess basic tools or be willing to acquire necessary hand tools.
  • Proficient in the safe use and maintenance of hand tools, power tools, and mechanical equipment such as motors, pumps, compressors, etc. Also knowledgeable in using measuring devices like voltmeters, ohmmeters, and testing meters.
