We are searching for a full-time staff member to join our Tax & Audit practices. This individual will assist in tax preparation during tax compliance season as well as support the preparation of audit reporting during non-tax season. This position will be based in Naperville.

Essential job duties:

Tax Support:

  • Provide administrative assistance by scheduling meetings, handling phone calls, email correspondence, and client interactions in person.
  • Organize and scan client workpapers and interact through the client portal
  • Assist in copying and assembling tax returns and organizing relevant materials and data.
  • Enter and maintain accurate records related to tax filings and other tax matters
  • Assist in tracking important deadlines, ensure that tax filings are completed on time.
  • Perform other administrative duties as assigned

Audit Support:

  • Process incoming audit confirmations
  • Assist in producing audit reports issued to each client
  • Provide administrative support to the audit team with ad hoc projects

Position Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field of study
  • Microsoft Office 365 and Adobe experience required
  • 0-3 years of tax or audit experience
  • Experience with UltraTax or QuickBooks a plus, but not required
  • Deadline driven
  • Willing to work additional hours during heavier tax seasons
  • Strong organizations skills and detail-oriented
  • Highly motivated, self-starter
