This is a unique opportunity for a highly motivated candidate to jump into SAP! The SAP Internship is an opportunity to learn about the Westinghouse SAP system and a multitude of business partners and business processes in the highly energized nuclear industry. Experience with SAP is not required; instead, the role requires strong technical aptitude, interpersonal communication, problem solving skills and high motivation.
The SAP Intern will be trained on SAP technology, learn how to analyze a problem, recommend and document a solution and implement the solution. SAP Interns will receive exposure to a range of SAP business modules, including but not limited to, Sales & Distribution, Ariba, Production Planning & Project Systems. In addition, SAP interns will be exposed to backend operational processes to understand how a global ERP is managed in a 24x7 manufacturing environment. This internship is hybrid, with two days (Monday & Friday) remote and three days on-site in the Cranberry Woods office (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday).

This position will include (but is not limited to) the following standard operational tasks:
- Complete training (system and process) on time
- Engage and collaborate within the SAP team to assess and analyze the problem
- Follow a defined system development lifecycle (SDLC) to successfully analyze, design, configure/develop, test, document and implement SAP solutions
- Complete required documentation (functional requirements, design specifications and change management artifacts) for assigned changes.
- Collaborate with Westinghouse business partners, other SAP team members, IT and other internal teams to provide high quality deliverables.
- As a member of the larger SAP team, participate in team meetings, and complete training on time
- Adhere to Westinghouse SAP standards and best practices for configuration
- Adhere to all Westinghouse cybersecurity best practices and policies to maintain a hardened environment.
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent
- High degree of motivation, flexibility and creativity
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize and analyze information with attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong presentation and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to work with other resources to troubleshoot issues/failures.
- Documentation skills and ability to create training and job aide material
- Executes work on time and within budget
- Provides high quality support within SLA
- Clear communicator
- Fluency in written and spoken English
