We are hiring an experienced full-time scheduling paralegal for our established and growing plaintiff law office in Hernando County Florida. The position is in person Monday to Friday 8 am to 5 pm. Great benefits and work environment. Motivated to hire.
Job Responsibilities:
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date calendars for between 2 and 4 attorneys
- Scheduling Trial, Mediation and Depositions
- Maintaining Court Deadlines
- Confirming appoints the day before
- Drafting legal documents related to scheduling
- Preparing client letters and correspondence as needed
- Preparing and filing documents with the different county court systems
- 5 years of law firm experience
- Experience scheduling in a fast-paced high-volume environment
- Well versed in Florida Courts E-Filing
- Able to use JAWS
- Proficient in Outlook, Word, Excel and Adobe
- Case management and document management software
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Positive attitude
- Excellent organization skills and time management
- Knowledgeable in legal terminology and procedure
- Bilingual is a plus
- Personal Injury and/or Med Mal a plus
- Paralegal degree or certificate a plus
