Position Overview : We are seeking a dynamic and creative Events and Marketing Manager to lead and execute our company’s marketing initiatives, social media strategy, and event planning. This individual will manage all aspects of our digital and in-person presence to amplify brand awareness, drive engagement, and foster meaningful connections with our audience.

Key Responsibilities

Social Media Management

Manage and post on social media platforms for the company and owners, including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube.

Generate conversations in relevant forums (e.g., Bigger Pockets) to build community engagement and industry visibility.

Create short-form and long-form content, including reels, posts, and stories tailored to platform-specific audiences.

Collaborate with team members (originators) to enhance their social media presence, providing guidance and content creation support.

Content Creation and Production

Develop, shoot, edit, and produce high-quality content for social media, podcasts, and YouTube.

Manage and maintain the company’s YouTube channel, podcast channel, and website to ensure consistent branding and fresh, engaging content.

Create marketing collateral, including Canva designs for ads, flyers, and posts.

Produce branded merchandise and swag for the team and events.

Marketing Campaigns

Plan, execute, and monitor paid marketing campaigns, including Facebook Ads, Google Ads, and other platforms as needed.

Analyze marketing data and optimize strategies to improve ROI.

Assist in the creation and management of chatbot functionalities for the website to enhance customer interaction.

Event Planning and Coordination

Plan and coordinate outreach events to enhance brand recognition and foster community engagement.

Manage booking, logistics, and on-site operations for events.

Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure events align with marketing goals.

Technology and Equipment Management

Create an equipment list and budget for photography, videography, and event needs.

Maintain, organize, and ensure the readiness of all necessary equipment.

Stay up-to-date with trends in digital marketing and media production to recommend and implement new tools and techniques.

Travel Requirements

Must be able to travel to our Dayton office as needed.

Required to attend conferences, work events, and content creation sessions, including out-of-state events.

Will accompany owners on personal trips to create additional content when requested.

Team Collaboration and Support

Provide training and resources to team members for improving their individual marketing and social media strategies.

Serve as a resource for graphic design, branding, and other marketing needs across departments.

General Marketing Duties

Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies in line with business goals.

Conduct market research to identify opportunities and improve campaigns.

Maintain consistent branding across all platforms and materials.

Stay current on industry trends to implement innovative marketing techniques.

Qualifications

Proven experience in marketing, social media management, content creation, and event planning.

Proficiency with tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, social media platforms, and scheduling tools.

Strong skills in photography, videography, editing, and graphic design.

Experience managing paid advertising campaigns (Facebook Ads, Google Ads, etc.).

Knowledge of website management tools (e.g., WordPress) and SEO best practices.

Exceptional organizational, multitasking, and communication skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Creative thinker with a passion for building brand presence and community engagement.

Preferred Skills

Experience with chatbot development and management.

Familiarity with Bigger Pockets and other industry-related forums.

Knowledge of podcasting tools and platforms.
