Job Summary: Supports financial decision-making for assigned areas/entities by collecting, analyzing, investigating, and reporting financial data. Applies accounting concepts, theories, and principles to develop solutions to problems. May exercise the freedom to create new or previously unused solutions to complex accounting issues. May provide technical guidance to others on the area of responsibility. May review work of lower level employees. May act as lead without hire/fire authority.
Essential Functions: Performs, monitors, and/or manages the day-to-day accounting and month-end close functions. Records financial transactions. Prepares, reviews, and distributes financial reports. Prepares reconciliations, roll forwards, and economic analysis. Prepares budgets, forecasts, trend analysis, and fluctuation commentary. Complies with internal controls. Provides financial reporting and analysis to internal and external business partners. Identifies opportunities and implements process improvements. Acts as Team Leader, mentoring new hires, leading projects, and resolving issues. Participates in special projects that impact policies and procedures. Acts as a subject matter expert for specialized accounting areas/systems, including training and troubleshooting in areas of expertise.
Supervisory Responsibilities: Non-Supervisory
Education and Experience: A bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent relevant education and 4 years of professional accounting experience are preferred. Continuing Education (Master in Accountancy, CPA, CMA) preferred.
Qualifications: Attention to detail and deadline-oriented Strong Excel skills Knowledge of GAAP/SFAS Ability to analyze financial data Ability to research and report results Strong customer service skills and leadership skills. Public company experience is highly desirable. Big 4 experience desirable.

Salary Range:
The anticipated hiring range for this role is $90,000-$105,000 annually, plus a generous annual bonus. Bonuses are prorated based on the date of hire.
