We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Daycare professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide a safe, nurturing, and educational environment for children in our care. This role involves working with infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children, ensuring their developmental needs are met while fostering a love for learning.
Duties
- Supervise and engage with children in daily activities, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote cognitive, social, and emotional development.
- Provide care for infants and toddlers, including feeding, diapering, and comforting as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment that is conducive to learning.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child’s progress and any concerns.
- Collaborate with other staff members to create a positive atmosphere for both children and families.
- Observe and document children’s behavior and development to tailor activities to their needs.
Skills
- Strong caregiving skills with experience in childcare settings.
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices.
- Experience working with infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children.
- Ability to create engaging classroom activities that educate while entertaining.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to handle challenging situations calmly.
- Familiarity with toddler care practices is preferred but not mandatory.
