JOB DESCRIPTION
Position: Facility Electrician
Location: BOSK
Job Type: Full Time**
Reports to: Maintenance Manager
Department: Maintenance**
Position Purpose: Provide industrial electrical maintenance support and analysis to assist Leadec in maintaining & improving the capability of machinery and equipment to achieve BOSK objectives.
Job Summary:
· Responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment in an industrial setting.
· Work with a variety of tools and equipment to diagnose and fix electrical problems.
· Able to read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of electrical systems and controls.
· Have a thorough understanding of electrical codes and safety regulations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
**
· Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in industrial settings.
· Perform preventative maintenance on electrical systems and equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
· Troubleshoot problems and diagnose issues with electrical systems and equipment.
· Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and diagrams to install and maintain electrical systems and equipment.
· Install and maintain electrical control systems for industrial machinery and equipment.
· Ensure compliance with electrical codes, standards, and regulations.
· Collaborate with other tradespeople, such as engineers, mechanics, and technicians, to complete projects and repairs.
· Provide training and guidance to apprentices and other junior electricians.
· Keep accurate records of work performed and maintain inventory of required equipment and supplies.

- Participate with BOSK plant personnel in supplier equipment “buy-off” activities as required.

- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Experience with electrical systems, wiring, and equipment.
- Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations related to industrial electrical work.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical ability to work in confined spaces and at heights.
- Experience working in industrial settings such as factories, plants, or warehouses.
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.

- Exceptional planning, communication, and Leadership skills.
Position Qualifications:
- High school diploma.
- Completion of an apprenticeship program or equivalent training and experience.
- Three plus years of experience in Industrial Electrician Maintenance related duties.
· Licensing and certification as an electrician a plus.
- Knowledge of PLC programming and control systems is a plus.
Physical Requirements:**
· The employee is also required to talk and/or hear in an industrial setting (noise level is moderate). The employee is frequently required to stand and walk on concrete surface from 4-8 hours. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
· The vision requirements: close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception and adjust focus.
· Work is performed in an industrial-manufacturing environment with necessary time spent working on a computer or at a desk.
