JOB DESCRIPTION
Position : Corporate Human Resource Generalist
Location : Corporate People Services
Job Type : Travel / Work Site (50%), Remote / Telecommute (50%)
Reports to : Employee and Labor Relations Director
Department : Corporate Human ResourcesNorth America
Position Purpose : The position is responsible for the day to day management of Human Resource Operations across all human resources functional areas including : Transactional support, Facilitation of problem solving, and administration of the policies, procedures and programs of the company.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Demonstrates the values and business principles of Leadec
- Works safely at all times
- Ensure compliance with all legal requirements and the consistent administration of policies and procedures
- Facilitate the problem-solving process of employee relations issues, internal investigations, performance etc.
- Ensure that quality processes, performance management and review, training and development, succession planning, retention, are in place to provide the business with sufficient human resources now
- Partners with operational leaders to ensure alignment of HR policies, procedures, and services with the business unit needs. Identifies HR specific initiatives and process improvement initiatives
- Maintain fair and efficient procedures for staffing, compensation, personnel administration and compliance
- Facilitate, coordinate and manage (where applicable) the staffing activities for new employees
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws in the countries, states and communities in which we support
- Maintain high standards of personal credibility and company business ethics
- Project work lead or support as needed within the HR Team
- All other duties as assigned by Leadec manager
