What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounts Receivable Clerk position at Leaders Staffing, LLC?
Leaders Staffing is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Clerk for a client north of Fort Wayne. This position will work Monday-Friday from 8am-5pm.
Duties:
- Creating edits/invoices
- Posting cash to customer accounts
- Organize information for monthly credit meetings
- Maintain various Excel spreadsheets relating to accounts receivable/banking activity
- Collection calls if needed
- Reconciliation of outside inventory
- Maintain monthly reports for storage revenue/inventory
- Month-end general ledger account reconciliations
- Maintain customer accounts/set up new customers
- Collect credit information for prospective customers
- Cross train for accounts payable/receiving and charting
- Other duties as assigned
Skills:
- Communication: Developed written and verbal communication skills are necessary. Account receivable specialists will often communicate with clients, requesting payment or setting up payment plans.
- Project management: Strong project management skills are useful as you are often managing multiple projects at one time.
- Organization: Organizational skills are crucial.
- Accuracy/attention to detail: Must have the ability to closely pay attention to detail and will ensure that records and reports are accurate.
- Computer: Advanced computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook, Etc.)
