With the retirement of the current Finance Director, the City of Prior Lake seeks a highly motivated, personable finance professional to advise the City Manager and City Council on the financial strategic vision for this desirable, rapidly growing community. The City of Prior Lake has 121 employees across 6 departments, an annual budget of $50M, and a Standard & Poor's AAA bond rating. A critical member of the City leadership team, the Finance Director and a team of 6 financial professionals work to manage the long-term financial health of this exceptional organization and community. A bachelor's degree in public finance, accounting or a related field required. Ten years or progressively responsible experience in government finance and three years of supervisory experience required. Certified Public Accountant, Certified Public Financial Officer, Certified Management Accountant or master's degree in finance preferred.
