About the Role


In this position, you'll work closely with internal and external teams to support the ecommerce business. This includes tasks such as category management, business planning, content creation, promotional campaigns, website design, customer service, and analytics.


What You’ll Do

  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners both internally and externally to support the ecommerce business including category management, business planning, content development, promotional campaigns and other online marketing, website design, customer service, analytics and all related technologies.
  • Write compelling and accurate product descriptions, titles, and specifications for online retail platforms such as Amazon, Walmart, Target, Sam’s Club, and other retailer.com spaces
  • Optimize product pages across retailer websites to increase sales in the online channel.
  • Request assets from Design and Digital Marketing teams for product pages
  • Closely monitor competition and trends to develop compelling content and product ideas to win in the marketplace; monitor and analyze website performance metrics, such as conversion and bounce rates, to measure the effectiveness of conversion optimization efforts.
  • Ability to efficiently manage multiple projects, and ensure timely and on time execution.


Who You Are

  • 1 years in an eCommerce or relevant marketing role either as working experience or a combination of schooling and internship experience
  • Working knowledge of marketing channels, tools and optimization and testing techniques, specifically in email marketing, paid social/digital, SEO, SEM, content marketing, direct mail, and influencer/affiliate marketing
  • Experience with CMS/PIM software such as Shopify (preferred), Salsify, or Syndigo ideal
  • Mastery of written and verbal communication, experience in copywriting or other written content creation is essential
  • Highly collaborative and communicative with cross-functional teams
  • A strategic thinker who can ‘connect the dots’ of the bigger picture, as well as being comfortable in the details of the deliverables
  • Able to work effectively within a fast-changing environment, adapting to tight deadlines and priority changes

Leapfrog is currently operating under a hybrid work model, and this position will report on site to our Lincoln Park office at least 2 days per week. Additional ad-hoc in office days may be required based on business needs. Please do not apply if you are not comfortable with a hybrid work model.

Salary Band

$55,000-67,500, full-time, salaried, exempt, hybrid


Please note: Most candidates can expect to be positioned within the low to mid-range of the designated compensation band. This approach is designed to set realistic expectations while providing employees with the opportunity for growth and development within their roles. Placement toward the higher end of the band may be considered based on relevant experience, specialized skills, and other qualifications.


The pay range for this role is:

55,000 - 67,500 USD per year(Chicago)
