Daycare Assistant

Position Available: Daycare Floater/Team Supporter

Are you passionate about providing quality care and support to children in their early years? Learning Ladder Child Care & Development Center is seeking a reliable and adaptable individual to join our team as a team supporter.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the supervision and care of children ranging from toddlers to preschool-aged, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
• Float between classrooms as needed, stepping in to support lead teachers with daily activities, transitions, and routines.
• Engage children in age-appropriate games, activities, and learning experiences that promote their social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and inviting classroom environment, including sanitizing toys and surfaces, and assisting with meal/snack preparation.
• Foster positive relationships with children, families, and staff members, demonstrating patience, warmth, and professionalism in all interactions.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.
• Previous experience working in a daycare, preschool, or childcare setting is advantageous.
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing needs and routines, and to work effectively in a team environment.
• Strong communication skills and a genuine passion for working with children.
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
