What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hybrid Teacher position at LearnWell?

For more than 26 years, we have provided on-site educational services in hospitals, helping these school-age patients continue their education during treatment and reintegrate successfully into the classroom. Currently, we are seeking a passionate and creative Hybrid teacher to join our team in Havertown, PA area on a full-time basis permanent position. This unique position will involve working in patient behavioral health facilities, providing academic support to adolescent school-age patients in a small classroom setting as they receive treatment. A couple days a work from home.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to plan and deliver daily lesson plans, provide individualized assistance to students, and regularly communicate about student progress as needed. Additionally, you will monitor and adjust teaching strategies to ensure student success and maintain accurate attendance and session reports. Most of our class sizes range from 8 to 15 school-age patients at any one time.
Position entails a 40-hour a week, Monday-Friday, 7:30am-4:00pm or 8:00am-4:30pm, depending on candidate preference.

Qualifications:
- B.A/B.S degree from an accredited institution
- Active PA State Teaching Certification
- Reliable Transportation open to covering teachers when out (furthest commute is 20 min)
