Marketing Communications Intern

Schedule:
M-F 8 am to 5 pm (specific schedule to be determined by manager and Intern/school)
Position Summary:
The Marketing Communications Internship is a paid opportunity for a student to gain hands-on experience working within a global marketing communications department. The internship would last approximately 3 months throughout the summer, depending on school schedules, and has the potential to be renewed. Work hours and schedule are determined by the manager and the Intern based on need and school requirements.
Position Responsibilities:
The primary purpose of the Marketing Communications Intern will be to assist the Marketing Coordinator with the printing and assembly of instrument manuals and other materials, and assist in Lead Fulfillment. In addition, the Marketing Communications Intern will be exposed to and assist in the following areas for a Global Marketing/Communications department:
- Marketing strategy and campaign planning
- Internal/external communications strategy and planning
- Event planning and program assistance
- Graphic design and promotional material creation
- E-mail and social media marketing
- Website development and maintenance
Position Requirements:
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Must be an assertive self-starter capable of working in a fast-paced office environment
- Ability to work alone and unsupervised at times, or with others when needed
- Strong typing, computer, and communications skills
Education/Certifications:
- Current High School or College enrollment
