Bookkeeper
Our client is seeking a part-time Bookkeeper to assist with financial and accounting functions. You’ll join the collaborative team at a nurturing educational facility that supports individuals with special needs.
Responsibilities of the Bookkeeper
- Process accounts receivable and payable, and serve as primary contact for related inquiries
- Perform petty cash and credit card audits
- Research and code transactions
- Draft schedules for audits
- Prepare annual 1099s
- Maintain accurate financial records
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications of the Bookkeeper
- 3 years of accounting experience
- Associate degree in Accounting/Finance from an accredited college, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Outstanding attention to detail and grace under pressure
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
- Background in education or similar a plus
- Team player with strong communication skills
- Commitment to the organization’s mission
- Adherence to confidentiality
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to obtain and maintain certification in First Aid, CPR, and CPI
This Bookkeeper opportunity works 20 hours per week with flexible schedule options during business hours.
