Payroll Manager
Our client is seeking a strong leader with at least five years of experience for their Payroll Manager role. This full-time, direct-hire position is responsible for overseeing the team’s payroll activities while fostering a collaborative environment.
- Responsibilities of the Payroll ManagerSupervise, train, and motivate payroll team
- Ensure payroll is processed in a timely, accurate manner in compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations
- Prepare reports and conduct audits
- Develop and maintain documentation and employee communications
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives
- Work cross-functionally for best-practice operations
- Qualifications of the Payroll ManagerBachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business Administration
- 5 years of experience directly supervising payroll
- Experience processing multi-state payroll
- CPP a plus
- Proficiency in payroll software (Workday)
- Excellent communication and team-building skills
