Senior IT Project Manager (Cloud Migration)

We are seeking an IT Project Manager to work on a team at our client site in San Antonio, TX. The position is W2 hourly with our company (Roth Staffing, parent company of Ledgent Technology), with all work taking place onsite for our client. The position is 6 months in duration and could be extended.

The person in this position will handle project management duties as it relates to a large cloud migration. There are numerous applications being migrated, so you will be working with many teams and stakeholders. Experience with project management tools and managing projects related to migrating applications to the cloud. You will be tailoring the adoption of the current applications to the cloud. The client utilizes JIRA for tracking.

Description:

• Responsible for the coordination and completion of projects within the information technology department.
• Sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, and monitors and summarizes progress of project.
• Builds and maintains working relationships with team members, vendors, and other departments involved in the projects.
• Prepares reports for upper management regarding status of project.
• Requires at least 7 years of experience.
