System Administrator

Role: System Administrator

Location: Onsite - Portland Metropolitan

Position Type: Temporary

Hourly Rate: $27-34/hr.

Ledgent Technology is anticipating upcoming opportunities with local clients and is seeking skilled System Administrators to join our talent pool. We encourage qualified professionals to express their interest in potential upcoming roles.

• Manage and maintain servers, networks, and IT infrastructure.
• Administer user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
• Monitor system performance and ensure high availability.
• Implement and manage system security, updates, and patches.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
• Assist in IT project implementation, system migrations, and upgrades.
• Develop and maintain system documentation and IT policies.
• Provide technical support and training to end users as needed.
  
  

• Experience in system administration, network management, or related IT roles.
• Proficiency in Windows Server, Linux, Active Directory, and virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V).
• Knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, firewalls).
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and enterprise security practices.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
• IT certifications (CompTIA Network /Security , Microsoft, Cisco, etc.) are a plus.
