Job Description:
Sheet Metal Processor
Location: Carroll, IA
Shift: Days - M- F 7:00AM-3:00PM
Shift: Days - M- F 7:00AM-3:00PM
(overtime weeks 6:00AM-3:30PM)

Position Summary:
Reports to the Production Supervisor. Responsible for becoming proficient on all equipment in the metal area with the ability to setup machines as assigned according to blueprints.
Essential Functions / Responsibilities
- Accurately set up machines according to blue prints and cut lists
- Cutting, shearing and bending metal to appropriate lengths / sizes
- Perform quality checks on both machines and metal
- Ensure cut and bends sizes are accurate before starting any run by utilizing a tape measure for accuracy
- Keeping workstation neat and organized as housekeeping is essential to safety
- Lift, push and pull metal carts and tables
- All other duties as assigned within your capabilities determined by supervisor
Job Qualifications / Requirements
- Must have 6 months of experience in some sort of metal fabrication.
- Be able to pass a tape measure skills test
- Have a positive attitude
- Ability to lift 20 -30 frequently
- Ability to push, and pull metal carts
- Ability to reach overhead frequently
- Must be able to accurately read a tape measure
- Basic math skills
- Ability to use hand tools / power tools
- Stand on concrete for up to 9 hours a day
- Ability to work independently and in a team setting
- ALWAYS be able to adhere to all safety policies and procedures
